Kahaluu Bay Villas is an Ocean View Resort located 4 miles south of the Kailua-Kona town center. Across Alii Drive from Kahalu'u Beach Park (Turtle Beach) which has the best snorkeling and surfing in the area. A short walk to restaurants & stores. Near the world famous town of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kailua-Kona is known for its breathtaking, never-ending sunsets and are taken in by locals and tourists every evening. This complex is located just off of Ali'i drive, and is a one minute walk to the Kahaluu Beach Park. This is popular spot to surf and snorkel; it is frequented by turtles, and has a sheltered access for novice snorklers. A further ten minute walk will take you to White Sands beach (a.k.a. Magic Sands). Approximately twenty minutes from Kona International Airport. It is less than a ten minute drive to the town of Kailua, or a few minutes drive south to the Keauhou Shopping Center, where there are interesting shops, restaurants, a large super market, cinema, banks, medical clinic, drugstore, post office, gas station and a Wendy's with the best view you can imagine. Volcanoes National Park is a two hour twenty minute drive. The closest golf course is the Kona Country Club Golf Course, which has two championship golf courses. It is a 36-hole layout featuring the Ocean Golf Course and Ali'i (Royal) Golf Course, and is only about a ten minute drive away. There are two beaches to enjoy in Kona. Kahaluu Bay is a small black sand beach with excellent swimming and snorkeling. Disappearing Sands Beach usually has good swimming conditions between April and October.
